Mr John Wells
‘The Black Dog Institute is the leading organisation in Australia researching, diagnosing and treating depression among all people, but particularly among younger people. It is an organisation dedicated and committed to helping all people with the terrible affliction of depression. It is a marvellous organisation committed and dedicated to very important work.’
John was a long time journalist and chief of staff with News Limited, Channel Nine and Radio 2UE, through the 1970s and 1980s. John worked for two leaders of the opposition, John Howard and Andrew Peacock as their Press Secretary in the 1980s and 1990s. John's career then turned to public affairs, government, communications and media relations, where he has built a successful business over the past 25 years.
