Schools play a central role in providing awareness, understanding and support for students regarding mental health and wellbeing.
Navigating Teenage Depression is a one-hour program delivered by a trained presenter with a lived experience of mental illness during adolescence (either as a consumer or carer). The presentation aims to increase mental health literacy, reduce stigma and promote help seeking for young people.
Navigating Teenage Depression covers a tough topic in an engaging way. Through illustrations, facts and storytelling parents and teachers will learn what to look out for and where to go for support.
