MAP reports from the Black Dog Institute can be delivered to clinicians via secure electronic messaging. The reports will be delivered using Argus Messenger, a secure messaging service which will be installed alongside existing medical software and email or as a stand- alone system.
You will firstly need to install the Argus Messenger software. Black Dog Institute will pay the support costs for 12 months if you only want to use it for the MAP.
To get started, download and review this document 'Receiving MAP Reports Electronically' [PDF,555KB], which contains instructions for arranging installation with Argus Connect.
You’ll need a Windows PC or a Mac with a broadband connection to the internet.
Argus will not automatically associate the MAP report with the patient. It is up to the practice software user to import the MAP report manually. Suggested steps on how this would be done (may vary according to the practice software in use):
Argus includes messaging functionality that is as easy to use as your email.
You would simply:
The Black Dog Institute does not support Argus. Please contact Argus on 03 5335 2221 or visit their Website Help Desk
Support costs to use Argus after 12 months can be negotiated with Argus Connect directly.
