Take the Lead with the Black Dog Institute’s Volunteer Program!

The Black Dog Institute’s Volunteer Program invites passionate individuals to take the lead and be part of improving the lives of people with a mood disorder. Black Dog Institute volunteers believe that everyone deserves peace of mind.
Many of our volunteers have personally experienced a mood disorder or cared for a loved one with a mood disorder. The Volunteer Program is enriched by the personal experience, wisdom, humour, skills and qualities offered by our volunteers.
The Black Dog Institute is committed to offering a rewarding experience for volunteers by providing training and ongoing support. Please see the details below for meaningful volunteering opportunities along with their recruitment and training periods.
