Babybumps - Free support groups and supported playgroups for mothers and families experiencing perinatal mood disorders

Babybumps is run by volunteers, many of whom have qualifications in mental health, social work, counselling or psychology. Based in Hornsby, they run support groups and a supported playgroup as well as other services, all of which are free of charge.

Sydney Running Festival

21 September, 2008

The Black Dog Institute is now one of the charities being promoted by the Sydney Running Festival. The Festival, which takes place on Sunday 21 September, features 4 events – giving people of all fitness levels a chance to be part of Australia’s largest running festival. 

So enter now – either in the Marathon, the Half-marathon, the 9km Bridge Run or the 4km Fun Run and raise money for the Black Dog Institute. Last year, over 20,000 people participated – and it’s hoped that this year, it will be close to 25,000.

And if you can't enter, you can still support us by sponsoring one of our many runners.

Tulip Time

• Tulip Time Specialist Garden Show (October long weekend) Sat 4th October to Mon 6 th October Corbett Gardens. One of the most popular events where specialist nurseries from around Australia and beautiful home wares come together in a perfect setting.
