Overview
This diagram shows the 'life-cycle' of a depressive illness - starting with predisposing factors, then the immediate triggering factors, moving on to the treatment phase and then the outcomes – and shows how our research streams target key points within that life-cycle. Studies in this stream assess the long-term disability and burden of depressive and bipolar disorders and their causes.
