Chinese-Australian beliefs about the causes of depression that runs in families

Researchers from the University of New South Wales are inviting people to participate in a study aiming to evaluate Chinese Australian beliefs about causes of depression that runs in families and attitudes towards genetic counselling.

You are invited to participate in the study if:

  • You have at least one close blood relative who has been diagnosed with depression (e.g., mother, father, brother, sister), and
  • You are of Chinese or Chinese-Australian ancestry, and
  • You are at least 18 years of age

如果你滿足以下條件,我們非常歡迎你參與此項研究:

  • 你有一個或以上的近親 (有血緣關係的)被診斷爲患有抑鬱症(例如:母親、父親、兄弟、姐妹)
  • 你具有華裔血統
  • 你的年齡大於18嵗

Participation will involve a face-to-face interview at a location of your choice.
