Seeking 18-35 year olds with depression or bipolar disorder

Early warning signs

This study aims to identify the early warning signs of mood disorders in young people. We’d like to interview people aged between 18 and 35 years, who have been diagnosed with either bipolar disorder or depression and whose first symptoms appeared prior to the age of 24 years.  We are very interested in hearing what you considered were the early warning signs of your condition.

We are looking for people who:

  • Are aged between 18 and 35
  • Have been diagnosed with depression or bipolar disorder
  • Experienced their first symptoms before the age of 24
  • Can come to an interview at the Black Dog Institute in Randwick, NSW
